Hello, happy new  month,  it's really been a while,  thanks to everyone who checked while I was away,  thanks for all the love notes,  chats and mails,  I feel really honoured,  yes,  the year is almost running to an end and am so glad because it's really a long and amazing year for me,  I might not be where I want to be yet but then I have reasons to be thankful while I hope for the better, what about you, how has the year been for you?????

Hello beautiful people, *pops collar, i know ya all went to know where and what i have been up to, well in subsequent post i will talk about it, so, it is a general believe that Nigerian men shy away from marriage, when i read this reasons i knew i had to share, i totally i agree with no2 ,3,7,8,10, lets talk in the comments section, what do you think?

So, what are those factors that scare Nigerian men away from marriage? We have tried to compile some reasons that make most men feel jittery to converse on ‘Marriage’ as topic, feel free to add yours if not in our list.

1. No wife materials: Common among some men is the reservation that there is scarcity of ‘wife-materials’ in Nigeria. In this case, they are not referring to ladies not being in quantifiable distribution among men, what they are complaining about is that most ladies of this generation lack the necessary attributes that will qualify them for the lifetime commitment called marriage. If this is the case, time of quality search can help heal the wound of such man.

2. They get sex freely without marriage than in time past: Realizing now that they can get sex more easily than in times past, when ‘virginity’ for women was a pass value to marriage, some men now feel lot of women today have lost it when it comes to keeping themselves whole. But, this might not be the fault of women as promiscuity is not an exclusive act than can be carried out without the consent of either gender.

3. Nigeria weddings are expensive: In a country where a man is expected to marry a woman in three different kinds of wedding- Religious, Traditional and Court, the cost of marriage no doubt is something men find very intimidating. As of last year, the average Nigeria wedding cost something like N500,000 and the it goes upward from that to more unimaginable cost. For most people, especially in this economy, that’s a lot of money. But all we advise is that men should try and cut their coat according to their material

Well its going to be a bright Monday here, this was supposed to be friday's post but  my blogger app was just messing up all througg the weekend

  Lets discuss something interesting today, am a big fan of social media; facebook, bbm, twitter, instagram,youtube,blogs e.t.c, well am addicted to some of this platforms because i could get to talk to almost anyone i want to talk to by just chatting with them, facebook updates me on events and things about my friends and loved ones, then i kind of love talking about politics and the state of the nation, facebook and twitter does all the job, instagram is my go to place for update on trends, latest music, latest outfit,celebrity gist and everything...so, to me social media is a huge blessing but on the other way round, sometimes i hate social media because people tend to hide behind the screen of their phones, pc or tablet to spew bad vibes to other people especially celebs, another one is all this sexually provocative pictures and videos plastered all over facebook attimes and then people have turned everything in Nigeria to social media jokes with different hashtags and memes...

    But all in all, social media in my own opinion is still a blessing, its a platform we can now use to speak out as youth, its a platform we can use to know whats going on in the society, its a platform we can use to learn new things and its a platform we can use to keep close contact...whats your opinion? Is social media a curse or a blessing???

Inspiration wednesday-you have to be strong

Hello my beautiful people, how is everyone doing??? Choi...i missed this space mehn,i missed everyone...*side eyes* to Amaka, reading her comment this morning made me laugh out loud and it really did melt my heart...so i had to quickly open blogger...

   Well Inspiration wednesday today is talking to jibbyks, i wish i could pour out my heart here, *But some people who knows me personally, come here annoymously*i wish behind the smiles and happiness i show to people around me the pain in my heart could show but no it does not because i know i have to be strong....

  Have you ever felt so much pain deep within that you can't talk to anyone about it because words can't explain how you feel or you feel people can't understand you, thats exactly how have been feeling lately...but i know that this too shall pass if i am strong, life is throwing me different punches but i won't allow myself to be down for long because this is part of the sharpening, i have to go through, because nothing good comes easy in life and so that i can be more grateful when i reach my goal...

But as am typing this post, my heavy heart is melting..... i know before the year runs out, testimony shall abound....in every situation you have to be strong, you have to wrap your struggles in strength and just let God fix it which is exactly what am doing now and what you should try to do too..

Where did gender equality travel to?

Hello my deareat LD fam, how is your day going, mine is going coldly, as the weather is too cold for me to deal with, i wish i could just be indoor all day but i can't be lazy around here, i have to go to work *rolls eyes*

   Let me go straight to the reason of today's post, during my final year in the uni, one of the 8 Mdg goals i was thought was gender equality, but in reality i feel there cannot be such thing, the male gender is still very much favoured than the female gender...  if a woman is pregnant, and she gives birth to a female child as ist born, female as second born and third born, the family is deemed not complete until she brings forth a male child, whereas if  its the other way round its no issue..

i was forced to ask my dad, why is it that after sending your male and female children to school,after Nysc, the male child must go and hustle or start a life anywhere he likes while the female must continue anything she wants to do under your roof or she ll be termed a rebel?

Today lets talk about Self esteem, while i was growing up and even up to recently i was battling with low self esteem, i just use to feel everyone is better than i am, but  just recently i got transformed from it all thanks to one wonderful person in my life, well low self esteem is when one is always feeling insignificant or less important, it could be a dream killer and it makes you feel less human, it could be caused by what you believe about yourself, It could be as a result of experiences i.e what you saw, heard or experienced earlier in life, it could also be as a result of neglect, abuse, failing to meet parental or peer group standards and lack of warmth, affection or family love

 Today i want to talk of one thing that annoys me most on Nigerian roads, its the Horn, the Horn has been greatly abused by Nigerian Car users, i don't know if its like that in other parts of the world o, but am sure Cherri, mami Tibs and others can tell us if it is, but in this Nigeria part of the things Horns are used for are:

 when they see someone that they know on the road driving by, to say hello or greet the person, you just hear them blow their Horn pon pon pon....so annoying , am my dad does this attimes too

Personality Test- Temperament

 Hello my lovely, people, how is your week going, mine has been awesome, am just very happy this days like someone that licked one drum of honey, am thankful for God's grace, when i look at this year all together, i have a lot to be thankful for, enough of me already!

  Today we are going to engage ourselves with Personality Test, you know, i have come to understand that, if you don't know yourself, then you can't deal with other people, you will end up either been always hurt or always stepping on other people's toes, at a point in my life, i was very angry with everyone around me, people always getting on my nerves and annoying me, then i knew something was wrong with me, everyone can't be bad, then i went through the personality test,believe me, now there is rarely any person i can't live with, i spent part of my secondary school days in the boarding house, all through my university days, my school was fully residential, so we all lived in the hostel, is either we are 8 in a room, or 6 in a room and the lowest is 4 in a room, believe me i learned to be very tolerant and then i discovered that if you know each other, you will find it easy to relate well, which is where Temperament comes in, Temperament is a person's nature that affects their behavior, now there are basically four types of temperament which are:

 Hello dearest LD fam, Good morning, Happy New Week, Happy New Month.... choi, i can greet for Africa, blame it on my Yoruba Upbringing, well my weekend was amazing, i got to be with le boo, after so many months of not seeing that dude, mhen it was refreshing and wonderful, so now you know why i didn't blog all through the weekend, although the power supply was terrible too

 Happy new month once again my people, its mid year,can't believe that by next month we will start the second half of the year, well lets do a little review, we all have a laid out plan for the year right, goals, dreams, standards and resolutions,its mid year already, how far have you gone with your goals?? what about that resolution you made at the beginning of this year, that bad habit you wants to stop, how far have you gone with it?? well for me, it looks like you still have a chance to restructure and re plan and those goals can still be achieved if you get back on track, so the month of June is a reminder month for you that the year is soon running to an end and you have to get back on track
